マイケル・サンデル「大震災特別講義」の「正義」不在

4月16日のNHKテレビ放映。

敢えてアクチュアルなテーマに挑んだことには敬意を表する。
サンデル先生の立地点は、日本の権威主義的で保身的な「学界」などとは、はなから異なっているのがわかる。

しかしまあ、「正義」論で登場し、日本でも大いに売れたからな、このハーバード大の先生は。

だが、「正義」についての論議を期待した講義の内実は、大いなる幻影だった。

東京・上海・ボストン３都市のエリート学生たちを主体とした討論に、決定的に欠けていたのは、「地方」という視点、
「ジャパネット」の高田社長まで出て来て発言したのには驚いた。
出演者・発言者はみな、大都市に住む、「勝ち組」たち。

欧米と東洋、個人主義と自己犠牲的共同体意識、「単一民族国家」と多民族国家
島国国家と大陸国家、掠奪のない日本と便乗値上げのあったカトリーナのアメリカ・・・
こうした対立項を用いた討論は、すべて「キレイゴト」であった。

トーキョー放送局・NHKが仕組んだ、「日本ほめ」の猫だましエンタテイメント。

いま、日本列島が直面している最大のイッシューは、そこには不在であった。
それは、露骨に言えば、トーキョー国家による、「地方」に対する、ウソと不正義、いや、政治的詐欺という「犯罪」である。

フクシマは、トーキョーのために、住も職も、食も、自立できず、剥奪され、のみならず「差別」をうけつつあるからだ。
そこには、「自己犠牲」も、「英雄」も、生じる余地がない。

ギセイ規模は空前で、終息にむかうどころか現在進行中であり、なお予断を許さない。

だから、もし根源的な政治の「正義」を語るならば、その講義のの第一命題は、「フクシマはトーキョー帝国から独立すべきか」と、立てられるべきだったのだ。

一国家の「最大多数の最大幸福」のために、一地方がその意思に反してギセイとされるなら、その一地方には反乱の権利がある。
すくなくとも、その権利を「可視化」するのが「正義論」である。

この番組に、「正義」は不在であった。

「グローバル化」の結末。
アメリカにも、日本にも、中国でも、「健全な中間層」が崩落し、「巨大都市のエリート層」と「それ以外」に分解したことが、この番組でもよくわかった。
そうしてとりわけ日本においては、「それ以外」の層の「言説不在」が著しい。

しかし、すくなくとも日本において、巨大都市が自己の「消費」のために、自己以外の「辺地」に「原発」という「最終汚染源」を押し付けたことによって、逆に都市民は「疎開」する場を失ったのだ。

「都市」が「自然」を喰い尽くし、自ら崩壊の道をたどる構図が、ここにある。

サンデル先生の個人的な意図、すなわち日本を勇気づけ、支援したいという心情はよくわかる。

しかし、いまの、そしてこの列島の未来の鍵を握るのは、水道や電気、下水といった巨大人為独占システムによって維持されている「中央都市」ではなくて、むしろ「地方」の自立性なのだ。

現代政治哲学は、「巨大都市の論理」を越えて、再構築されなければならない。
