放映案内

タモリ倶楽部

ＮＨＫの次はテレ朝。
　『川の地図辞典　江戸・東京／23区編』の著者菅原氏から電話があって、タモリ倶楽部の担当者から出演依頼があったが、その日は都合がつかないので・・・と言う。その番組の話はどこかで聞いたことがあるけれど、見たこともないしと・・・と躊躇したものの、宣伝になるのならと、ＮＨＫ〈美の壷〉につづいてこれまた出演。

　石神井川ということで、１０月１１日の金曜日は朝から小雨のなかを王子へ。今回の企画提案者は漫画家の江川達也氏の由。
　マイクロバスのなかではタモリ氏、江川氏、そして私（芳賀啓）が撮影前から大盛りあがり。３人とも「地図好き・川好き」で、どの川が面白いか話し出したら止まらない。周りのスタッフとツッコミ役のおぎやはぎの２人は呆れていました。
　江川氏は、日本地図センター「地図の店」で平積みになっていた『川の地図辞典』を見て、即座に２冊買ったという。
　街なかを歩くにはこれくらいのスケールがないと、と『帝都地形図』（第１集。王子附近の図が収録されている）をお目にかけたら、２人とも食い入るように見て、「これ買うよ」と。

　こういう人たちはざらにはいないでしょうが、「（古い？）地図好き・（消えた！）川好き」が強固に存在し、そして増殖していることは確かであると思われました。
　〈鉄道マニア〉の次は、〈川マニア〉が浮上してくるでしょう。
　民放は、番組冒頭で、当の『川の地図辞典　江戸・東京／23区編』も紹介してくれるので大変助かります。
どうか、これらの本が多くの人の手に渡り、世の〈川と地形へのまなざし〉の復権に寄与しますように。〔放映は2008年11月14日深夜、というか15日0：15からでした〕

    『タモリ倶楽部』を拝見しました。
    放送後、まだまだ気になり石神井川や神田川について調べていて、
    幸運にも偶然このページを発見しました！

    石神井川、飛鳥山付近での流れの変化はもうちょっとお話を聞きたかったです。
    あとは現在埋め立てられている（？）河川敷を散策して解説もしてもらいたかったです（笑）

    私は江戸というか東京の歴史、地名の由来や街の歴史などに興味があり、
    テレビなどでそういったテーマの番組が放映されると
    時間を忘れてネットで調べ物をして自己満足に浸っております（笑）
    『タモリ倶楽部』もこういう面白い歴史雑学的テーマはしばしば放送されているんですよ！
    川マニアでもないのに放送終了後には川マニアになった気分にさせられる不思議な番組です（笑）
    テーマが鉄道のときも鉄道マニア然りでして…（笑）

    はじめまして、最近、東京にある神社仏閣を見て歩くことを始めたものです。神社仏閣を訪れるにあたり、当時の地形など河川について知る事は重要な点になります。現在は江戸名所図絵を参考にしながら地元ネイティブの方々の意見をすり合わせイメージをして様々な難問？を解いております。
    先日は音無川辺りの寺を仲間と2人で訪れました。復習がてらネット徘徊していたら『タモリ倶楽部』で、まったく同じ場所を歩いているではありませんか！！という訳でありまして、仲間にも報告したいと思います。同じルートを楽しんで歩く大人（立派な）が存在する事と、川の地図辞典・江戸・東京／23区編及び帝都地形図なる書物が存在する事を！！時間差のあるコメント失礼いたしましたっm(_ _)m
